ABOUT SANTOSHA YOGA

Santosha Yoga is a unique community-based, Non Profit studio that supports yoga teachers and students by providing a beautiful and affordable place to practice.  Most of our classes are offered through our non-profit where our teachers volunteer their time and students pay by donation (sliding scale).

Our mission is to bring Yoga to the Taos community to increase physical and emotional health, relaxation and general contentment through all of life’s experiences.

Santosha means “contentment” in Sanskrit, which is what we strive to cultivate in our community by making yoga available.

Our classes are alignment-based and focus on injury prevention and intelligent execution of asana so that one can knowledgeably re-pattern and strengthen ones body and mind.

We also offer many yoga items in our Eco-friendly boutique. We carry second hand yoga wear, books, mats and props, and clothing from organic and environmentally friendly yoga lines.

Our drop-in price is suggested Donation of $10 (sliding scale $5-$15) & affordable Monthly Memberships available for  $55/month.

Tax Deductible Donations can be made through PayPal via the Sage Institute website–make sure you identify your contribution for Santosha Yoga  or by check.
